Performance Actor Dmitrious Bistrevsky is one of 4 Darth Vaders on

LEVITTOWN, NY – (July 21st, 2022) – Actor and stunt man Dmitrious Bistrevsky best known for being Darth Vader joins this weeks episode of The Grindhouse Radio with hosts Brimstone, Kim Adragna, and Tom Greer. Bistrevsky is one of 4 Darth Vaders for Star Wars Disney + Series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Bistrevsky brought the fear and power into his performace of Vader leaving all Star Wars fans excited for a potential second season for the limited series. Bistrevskys background in the circus and working as a stuntman in LA has landed him a monumental role of a lifetime. “Hayden and I both act in the Darth Vader scenes, we bring the character and the emotions ( the pain, suffering, anger) - being 6’7 a full body shot looks better having an actor, vs having CGI,” Bistrevsky told GHR. “The fights are Tom. Full body with a helmet is me and voice is James."
Bistrevsky told the GHR cast that he was orignally going to do the stunts as well. “I would practice 3 hours a day for a year before filming.” Then he said in the interview that due to some knee issues it was too risky. But in the end he stated he was happy he had the opportunity to act because, “I really wanted to do it – its such an honor to play him.”

About Dmitrious Bistrevsky: Dmitrious was born in Zaporozhye, Ukraine and moved to the states when he was two years old. Growing up in Spokane Washington, Dmitrious dabbled in theatre, breakdancing, gymnastics, and the janitorial arts. At 23, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue stunts and acting, but he was quickly recruited into a circus school, a detour from his original path. Dmitrious' circus hobby spiraled out of control and allowed him to travel across the United States working for companies: "Cirque du Soleil" and "7 Fingers."
