About Tina Cannon:
Tina Cannon is a trained chef who competes in many barbecue competitions throughout the year. She is also the current reigning BBQ champion at the World Food Championships and most recently the winner of 2020 Netflix's American BBQ Showdown Champion. Her distinct smile and elegant pearls always make her stand out, and she continues to reside in Newman. She also uses her culinary skills for Meals on Wheels of Coweta ans is an avid gardener. Since 2009, she's been one of the few female Pitmasters to compete in the Southeast. 2015 was a great year for her, she won the Georgia BBQ championship, the first woman to do that! In 2014 she competed on Travel Channels American Grilled and won 10K for Grilling Skills. In 2013 was the first woman to win a Grand Championship for the Sam's Club National BBQ Tour as well as the Prestigious Dillard Georgia Contest, 19 years and she was the first woman to win. 2015 Georgia BBQ Champion, again the first woman to accomplish that!
