I like when these interviews get into the less glam parts—rejection, staying consistent, and how people keep momentum between gigs. The syndication list is wild too; podcasts really did turn into their own mini radio networks. Weird association, but it reminds me of check this out where the “what’s your vibe” stuff gets broken down into something more concrete instead of just buzzwords.
The “adventure in Hawaii” tease is doing a lot of work here—either it’s a great story or it’s just a nice way to say “I was on a beach.” I’d love if they asked about what a normal week looks like juggling auditions and travel. Totally unrelated, but the whole vibe made me think of those Ghibli-style photo portraits people post when they’re in vacation mode.
